Wording...

Save the Date | Wedding Invitation | Evening Invitation | RSVP | Order of Service | Order of the Day| Menu

The inserts in our stationery can be adapted to contain whatever information you wish. Below you will see some sample wordings, both formal and informal. These are just guidelines: our inserts are as flexible as you are.

You can also provide us with your own choice of wording for all our stationery. If you have a particular typeface in mind we will do our very best to match it. You can download a list of sample typefaces by clicking here.

Save the Date Cards

  • Announcing your wedding date to guests in advance of sending the wedding invitations.
  • Ensures that your guests have plenty of notice and keep the day free.
  • They are particularly useful for weddings abroad, to allow your guests to make travel arrangements before the invitations are finalised.
  • Your wedding invitations are then sent a little closer to the time.

Order of Service

  • Can be used as an alternative to handing out prayer and hymn books.
  • Depending on your preference you can show a complete breakdown of the service with the words of the officiant and responses along with hymns or you can keep it simple by showing the general order of the service with the words of the hymns.
  • Please note: it is important to obtain permission to use any hymn or piece of music that is still under copyright. For further advice, please contact us.

Order of the Day

  • A great alternative to an order of service for a civil wedding where the wedding does not involve hymns or a long ceremony.
  • Simply includes the agenda for the day's events so your guests know what will be happening and when.
  • Alternatively you could create a 'mix' of an order of the day and an order of service to present as much information as possible.
